Spike Stack for Sugar Professional is a fully configured LAMP stack optimized for use with Sugar Professional. Spike Net delivers customized software updates to maintain the stack in a secure and reliable state. SpikeSource Spike Net delivers an ongoing stream of fully tested software updates.
Open source is under continuous development and companies find it increasingly difficult to keep pace with code updates. In 2005 there were 6,700 updates to PHP, 2,965 to Apache and 6,805 to MySQL. SpikeSource automatically aggregates updates and its 50,000-test suite ensures stability by validating that each one performs as expected. As a result, companies save time and money by eliminating the need to dedicate IT resources to manually find, filter and test their own software.
Spike Stack for Sugar Professional is tuned specifically to meet the infrastructure needs of Sugar Professional customers. It incorporates only the components required to support the application in a fully configured package and includes Apache, MySQL and PHP. Also, SpikeSource has created a customized channel within Spike Net that delivers only the updates required to support Sugar Professional running on the Spike Stack. Customers also receive a one-year subscription to MySQL Network. The customer benefits from an entire solution that is secure, reliable and maintained.
